Mansfield hotel introduces parking charges
Mansfield Manor Hotel at Carr Bank park has introduced charges on its car park.
The hotel is now charging motorists £1 for an hour payable by mobile phone.
There is a p[arking penalty of £100 for those who do not pay.
A spokeman for the hotel said the charges were for th ehotel’s own spaces only and did not apply to the spaces allocatd for the tea rooms.
He said: “The hotel only has spaces for our own functions and weddings. A lot of people were parking there all day and we had to clamp down on it.”
