Mansfield drink driver was almost three times over the limit
A Mansfield man who crashed his car when he was almost three times over the legal limit has been given a driving ban.
Robert Andrzej Pieczykolan, of Spindle Court pleaded guilty at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday to driving his Land Rover Freelander car with 102 mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath, on April 18.
The court was told a witness saw Pieczykolan, 34 trying to reverse away after hitting a car on Spindle Court and stumbling on the driveway. He was disqualified for 24 months and given a 12 month community order with 60 hours work requirement, costs of £85 a Court Cost Charge of £150 and victim surcharge of £60.
