Mansfield District Council changes to garden waste collection service

All brown bin collections during the winter will be made in the same week as the BLUE recycling bins.

If your garden waste bin is usually collected on the same week as your green domestic bin, your brown bin will be collected during the following weeks:

December - Week commencing 9th December

January - Week commencing 6th January

February - Week commencing 3rd February

Collections will then revert back to your normal fortnightly collections in March, commencing 10th March, in the same week as green domestic waste bin on your normal day.

If your garden waste bin is usually collected on the same week as your blue recycling bin, your garden waste bin will be collected as follows:

December - Week commencing 9th December

January - Week commencing 20th January

February - Week commencing 17th February

Collections will revert back to your normal fortnightly collections in March. Your first collection will be in the week commencing 3rd March 2014 in the same week as your blue recycling bin on your normal day.

Stickers detailing collection arrangements during winter have been placed on brown bins across the District. However, if you do not have a sticker on your brown bin, please call 01623 463 463.
