MANSFIELD: Craft group make it onto nationwide list

The group based in the Victorian building that houses Making it! Discovery Centre in Mansfield has scooped one of the top awards in the Classes For You competition, run by Britain’s biggest parenting site Netmums.

More than 1.7 million members were eligible to vote in the UK-wide competition, recognising the hard work of people running adult classes.

The Brewhouses classes are held once a month and class coordinator Linda Boult said: “We are thrilled to win the award and would like to thank everyone who voted.

“After only a year, we are delighted that Brewhouse Crafts has been able to inspire and touch the lives of so many mums in the local area.”

The class will now be honoured with a coveted gold listing on the Netmums site, used by over a million people each week.

They also win a badge for the Brewhouse Crafts website and a place on the Netmums Award Winners’ pages.
