MANSFIELD: Cash injection for Jigsaw charity

The Petanque Club has donated £350 to local charity, Jigsaw Support Scheme, to help the charity to provide services to lonely, elderly and vulnerable people to address loneliness, homelessness and to support independent living at home.

The money was raised by club members by holding a Hallowe’en party.

A cake raffle on the evening raised £160, including £80 fund matching from club member Morris Goodman.

Club Captain Peter Seyfang said: “We chose Jigsaw because of the great work they do at ending loneliness and improving health outcomes.”
