Mansfield care home ranked one of the best in the country
Thistle Hill Hall, on Debdale Lane, is one of just nine facilities in 14,500 nationally to be ranked “outstanding” in all five areas by the Care Quality Commission, according to manager Megan Tranter.
Inspectors visited the home unannounced in March.

Megan said: “We are all delighted, it really is a massive achievement for us.
“We are up against huge companies with millions of pounds to spend on their services.

The CQC report states: “A clear vision for the promotion of mental and physical well-being was embedded throughout the home and there was a strong commitment to deliver a high standard of personalised care.
“There was a culture of continuous learning, development and improvement at Thistle Hill Hall and creative solutions were developed in response to adverse events.
