Mansfield car valeting business could be transformed into pizza takeaway - creating 10 jobs

Part of the premises of a car wash in Mansfield could be transformed into a new pizza takeaway.

A planning application has been submitted to Mansfield District Council for a change of use from current service car station into a takeaway pizza shop at the Shiny Hand Car Wash on Clipstone Road West, Forest Town.

Part of the building currently used for a car valeting business could be transformed into the takeaway.

The plans were submitted by a Mr Gezim Cokaj.

A planning statement submitted alongside the application said: "The proposal will not have any negative impact on the site or the surroundings. It will regenerate the site and bring positive contribution to the area."

The proposed opening hours are from 10.30am until midnight from Monday to Friday every day.

A total of 10 new staff could my employed if the business is given the go-ahead.

The planning statement said: "The shop is unlikely to be busy during the day hence two parking spaces will be dedicated to the customers.

Busy hours are likely to be between 7pm to midnight at which times the hand car wash will be closed therefore, all of the parking spaces will available for the customers of the pizza shop."
