Berry Hill

Burglary dwelling:

On Tuesday a house on Sandhurst Avenue was entered after offenders broke a door panel and then turned the key, which was in the door. A number of low value items were taken.

Broomhill

Theft from a motor vehicle:

Overnight on Tuesday 20th a car parked on Westfield Lane was entered and a number of items stolen, there was no sign of forced entry.

Criminal damage to a motor vehicle:

The window of a caravan parked on the driveway of a house on Chester Street was cracked, entry to the vehicle was not gained. It is not known exactly when the incident happened.

Cumberlands

Burglary other than dwelling:

Two sheds belonging to allotments on Harrop White Road were broken into after offenders ripped off the locks, a rotavator was stolen.

Eakring

Burglary dwelling:

On the afternoon of Tuesday 20th a purse containing cash and cards was taken from the kitchen of a house on Maltby Road. The back door had been left unlocked briefly while the homeowner was next door.

On the afternoon of Wednesday 21st a group of teenagers were seen breaking into a car parked on Windsor Road. They were chased by the victim and police made an arrest of a teenage male.

Overnight on Monday a car parked on Mill Street was entered, a search was made of the vehicle but nothing was taken. There was no sign of forced entry. On the same night a car parked on Bedford Avenue was also broken into and a work bag stolen.

Forest Town East

Burglary dwelling:

Overnight on Saturday a house on Fifth Avenue was entered after offenders smashed the lock of the back door. A number of tools were stolen from the property, which is under renovation. The tools were found the following Monday outside the front door.

Criminal damage to a motor vehicle:

Overnight on Tuesday all the windows of a car parked on Sixth Avenue were smashed with a brick, which was found at the scene.

In the early hours of Saturday morning a male in drink was seen to damage the wing mirror and steal the number plates from a car parked on Second Avenue.

Forest Town West

Theft of a motor vehicle:

A blue Peugeot 206 was stolen from the car park of Asda superstore. The victim was involved in a disagreement over a parking place and whilst this was happening a male entered his car and drove away in it.

Theft from a motor vehicle:

On Tuesday 20th a car parked on Laurel Avenue was broken into and a number of small items taken, there was no sign of forced entry.

Overnight on Wednesday 21st the fuel tank of a car parked on Pump Hollow Road was drilled and the fuel stolen.

Grange Farm

Overnight on Saturday the garage of a house on Cromarty Close was entered, the door of the garage was not secured. A number of tools were taken, along with a remote controlled car.

Leeming

Burglary dwelling:

On the evening of Tuesday 20th an attempt was made to break into a house on Tewkesbury Avenue. The offender was challenged by a neighbour and ran off.

Theft from a motor vehicle:

Overnight on Sunday a car parked on Kennedy Avenue was entered and cash and CDs taken. There was no sign of forced entry.

Lindhurst

Theft from a motor vehicle:

On Saturday morning the window of a Transit van parked on Shelton Court was broken and a number of items stolen, including cash, passports, clothing, a satnav and a video camera.

Criminal damage to a motor vehicle:

The passenger side door of a car parked on First Avenue was kicked and damaged at an exact time and date not known.

Oak Tree

Criminal damage to a motor vehicle:

The front windscreen of a car parked on Burbage Court was smashed overnight on Sunday with a brick, which was left at the scene.

Pleasley Hill

Burglary dwelling:

On Saturday afternoon a house on Cardale Road was entered after an offender smashed open the rear door, possibly with a crowbar. Nothing was taken.

Criminal damage to a motor vehicle:

On the evening of Wednesday 21st a group of teenagers were reported for knocking the wing mirrors of cars on Booth Crescent, one wing mirror was damaged.

Portland

Burglary other than dwelling:

A unit on the Oakham Business Park was broken into in the early hours of Monday morning. The business owner saw the incident taking place on CCTV and drove to the unit, disturbing the offenders who left, leaving behind a crowbar and the property they were intending to steal.

Theft from a motor vehicle:

The number plates of a car parked on the Mansfield Leisure Park were stolen on Monday evening.

Criminal damage to a motor vehicle:

On Saturday morning a metal trim was damaged on a car parked on Ratcliffe Gate.

Priory

Theft from a motor vehicle:

In the early hours of Wednesday 21st a van parked on Ludborough Walk was broken into after a window was smashed. A number of tools were taken from the vehicle.

Overnight on Sunday a car parked on Stainforth Street was entered and a number of items taken, including golf clubs, a satnav and clothing. There was no sign of forced entry. On the same night a car parked on Arun Dale was also entered by unknown means and wires pulled out, suggesting an attempt to steal the vehicle.

Ravensdale

Criminal damage to a motor vehicle:

A brick was thrown through the windscreen of a car parked on Wallis Road in the early hours of Tuesday 20th.

Robin Hood

Criminal damage to a motor vehicle:

In separate incidents a car parked on Park Hall Road was deliberately scratched and a tyre slashed.

Sherwood

Burglary dwelling:

On Saturday afternoon a house on Stonecross Lane was entered after the patio door was smashed, a number of items were taken from the property.

A resident of Blackshale Road returned from holiday on Sunday to find that he had been burgled. Offenders had broken the french doors, they stole a number of small value items from the property.

Theft of a motor vehicle:

On the afternoon of Tuesday 20th a yellow off-road bike was stolen from the garden of a house on Newcastle Street. The bike had been locked with a chain, which was also missing.

Criminal damage to a motor vehicle:

The brake pipe of a car belonging to a resident of Piper Close was deliberately tampered with at an exact time and date not known.

Town Centre

Burglary other than dwelling:

Overnight on Sunday a shop on Albert Street was broken into, offenders broke a window at the rear of the property. Nothing was taken, there was no cash in the premises.

Over the weekend the window of a public house on Stockwell Gate was smashed. Nothing was taken but there was evidence that offenders had been inside the pub, which is not currently in use.

Criminal damage to a motor vehicle:

In the early hours of Saturday morning a male punched the window of a taxi on Clumber Street, breaking the window and injuring his hand. The offender was taken to hospital and will receive a police warning.

Warsop Birklands

Theft of a motor vehicle:

Overnight on Tuesday 20th a silver Ford Kuga estate car parked on Friar Lane was stolen from the driveway.

Criminal damage to a motor vehicle:

The fuel pipe of a car parked on Clumber Street was cut overnight on Monday and the fuel drained from the vehicle.
