Berry Hill

Theft from a motor vehicle:

A car which had been parked on Forest Hill for a number of days was damaged after offenders drilled a hole in the petrol tank and removed the fuel.

On Friday morning a car parked on Oakham Close was broken into after offenders smashed the window. A hand bag containing an Iphone and keys was stolen from the vehicle.

Broomhill

Theft from a motor vehicle:

In the early hours of Friday morning a resident of George Street disturbed two males who were inside her car. It is not known if they intended to steal the vehicle or items within the vehicle.

In the early hours of Sunday morning a car parked on Colwick Close was entered and the satnav taken. CCTV showed a male wearing a dark coloured parka coat with a furred hood. There was no damage to the vehicle.

Theft from a motor vehicle:

Overnight on Wednesday a car parked on Saundby Avenue was damaged. The wing mirror and brake light were smashed and there were dents in the door and the roof.

Church Warsop

Burglary other than dwelling:

Over the weekend offenders broke a ground floor window of business premises on Carr Lane, entry was not gained.

Cumberlands

Theft from a motor vehicle:

At an exact time and date not known a van parked on Berwick Avenue was entered, there was no sign of damage to the vehicle. A satnav and a number of tools were taken.

On Saturday morning a car parked on Wainwright Avenue was entered, there were marks around the lock which may be how the offenders got in. The satnav and some keys were taken.

Eakring

Criminal damage to a motor vehicle:

On Tuesday evening the windscreen of a car parked on Elton Road was smashed with a brick.

Forest Town West

Burglary other than dwelling:

An attempt was made to break into a shed on Violet Hill, triggering an alarm.

Criminal damage to a motor vehicle:

Four males were witnessed throwing stones at vehicles on Brackmills Close on Tuesday evening, causing minor damage.

Grange Farm

Theft from a motor vehicle:

Overnight on Thursday 1st the petrol tank of a car parked on Merryvale Drive was drilled and the fuel removed.

Ladybrook

Burglary other than dwelling:

On Tuesday evening a male entered the rear, staff only, area of a shop on Rosemary Street and stole a case of cider.

Lindhurst

Theft from a motor vehicle:

At an exact time and date not known an attempt was made to enter a vehicle which had been parked on Padstow Close. A number of tools were taken, there was no sign of forced entry.

Oak Tree

Burglary other than dwelling:

On Sunday evening premises on Jubilee Way North were broken into after offenders smashed three of the windows. Sports equipment and fire extinguishers were taken.

Criminal damage to a motor vehicle:

Overnight on Thursday 1st two vehicles parked on Osmaston Walk were damaged, the windscreens of both cars were smashed with a brick.

A group of approximately five teenage males kicked a car parked on Eckington Walk, the wing mirror was kicked completely off.

Pleasley Hill

Criminal damage to a motor vehicle:

Overnight on Monday the rear windscreen of a car parked on Butler Crescent was smashed with a brick.

Portland

Burglary dwelling:

A brand new AEG dishwasher, still in its box, was taken from the utility room of a house on Princes Street at some point over the weekend.

In the early hours of Thursday 8th an unknown offender entered a house which had been accidentally left unlocked. They stole a wallet containing bank cards, a memory stick and an Iphone.

Burglary other than dwelling:

At some time between Wednesday afternoon and Friday morning offenders smashed the window of premises on the Oakham business park, entry was not gained.

Priory

Theft from a motor vehicle:

On Friday afternoon a handbag was stolen from a vehicle in Morrison’s car park while the owner was returning her shopping trolley.

Robin Hood

Burglary other than dwelling:

The shed of a property on Vale Road was broken into overnight on Saturday after the padlock was removed from the door. A number of tools were taken. On the same night a shed on the Common Lane allotments was also broken into and tools stolen.

Theft from a motor vehicle:

Overnight on Wednesday a car parked on Cavendish Avenue was entered and a purse containing bank cards was stolen. There was no sign of damage to the vehicle.

Sherwood

Theft from a motor vehicle:

A number of tools were taken from the boot of a car parked on Banchory Close in the early hours of Thursday 8th, there was no sign of forced entry. On the same morning two cars parked on Debdale Way were also entered, again there was no sign of forced entry. In one incident football kit was taken, in the other a small amount of cash was stolen.

Town Centre

Burglary other than dwelling:

In the early hours of Tuesday morning two males were witnessed on CCTV smashing the window of premises on Church Street, entry to the building was not gained.

Overnight on Friday a public house on Stockwell Gate, which is not currently in operation, was broken into. A male was found inside the building, he has been identified and circulated for arrest.

In the early hours of Monday morning two males were seen on CCTV attempting to force up the shutter of a shop in the Rosemary Centre. Police were alerted and two males were arrested.

Criminal damage to a motor vehicle:

On Thursday 1st a van was parked on Clumber Street and an unknown person glued a sign to the windscreen, causing damage.
