Burglary other than dwelling:

Over the weekend the staff area of a building site near to Bellamy Road was broken into and a number of items taken including a fridge, lights, chairs and desks.

Broomhill

Burglary dwelling:

A resident of Broomhill Lane returned home after a week away, in the early hours of Monday morning, to find that the house had been burgled. Entry was through a rear window and a number of items had been stolen.

On Tuesday afternoon a male entered a house on George Street through an upstairs window. He spoke to the occupant and left without taking anything.

Theft of a motor vehicle:

A Peugeot 125 motorcycle was stolen from Colwick Close overnight on Saturday. During the same night a car parked on Woodborough Road was entered by unknown means and clothing, sunglasses and a battery charger stolen.

Church Warsop

Burglary other than dwelling:

A caravan parked in a secure area on Mansfield Road was entered by unknown means at some time between Friday and Sunday. Two televisions were stolen, along with a number of other items.

Cumberlands

Burglary other than dwelling:

A petrol strimmer was stolen from the garage of a property on Harrop White Road, at an exact time and date not known. There was no sign of forced entry.

A car parked on Somersall Street was broken into on Saturday night by unknown means, a torch was taken. CCTV showed two white male offenders, with a dog.

Criminal damage to a motor vehicle:

CCTV captured an incident at 10:45 on Thursday 24th in which the rear driver’s side window of a car parked on Bosworth Street was broken.

Eakring

Criminal damage to a motor vehicle:

A car regularly parked on Hall Street has been deliberately scratched on several occasions over a period of months.

Overnight on Monday the rear driver’s side window of a car parked on Southwell Road West was smashed.

Forest Town West

Criminal damage to a motor vehicle:

The wing mirror of a car parked on Laurel Avenue was smashed overnight on Monday.

Ladybrook

Burglary dwelling:

A house on Layton Burroughs was entered at some time between Monday and Wednesday. The door was damaged in the incident, it is not known if anything was taken.

Theft from a motor vehicle:

A car parked on Padley Hill was broken into in the early hours of Sunday morning. Two male offenders were disturbed and ran away before stealing anything from the vehicle.

Leeming

Theft of a motor vehicle:

On Thursday afternoon a black Kawasaki motorcycle was stolen from Peafield Lane. The motorcycle had been involved in an accident earlier in the day and was badly damaged.

On Sunday evening a house on Kedleston Walk was entered after a window was forced open. Three mobile phones were stolen from the living room.

Criminal damage to a motor vehicle:

All four tyres of a car parked on Violet Hill were slashed at an exact time and date not known.

Overnight on Wednesday a car parked on Mappleton Drive was deliberately scratched along the driver’s side.

Pleasley Hill

Criminal damage to a motor vehicle:

The rear tyre of a car parked on Wharmby Avenue was slashed at an exact time and date not known.

Portland

Burglary dwelling:

On Tuesday a property on Victoria Street was entered while the family was in the house, possibly via an unlocked door, and a small amount of cash was stolen from a bedroom.

Theft of a motor vehicle:

A black Fiat Seicento 5 was stolen from outside a house on Cromwell Street at an exact time and date not known.

Ravensdale

Burglary dwelling:

At an exact time and date not known an unoccupied house on Hibbert Road was entered after a rear window and a door were broken. Clothing and a cupboard were stolen.

At some time on Friday an attempt was made to enter a house on Alcock Avenue. A door was damaged in the attempt but entry was not gained.

During the day on Friday an attempt was made to force open the door of a garage on Nursery Street, a car inside the garage was damaged in the incident.

Robin Hood

Theft of a motor vehicle:

A black Audi Quatro 5 was stolen from Piccadilly Close overnight on Friday.

Sherwood

Burglary dwelling:

An offender gained entry to a house on Muskham Court via an unlocked door. The incident occurred on Saturday morning and a handbag and purse were stolen.

Over the weekend a room in a shared property on Welbeck Street was broken into and a phone stolen.

On the evening of Thursday 17th a resident of Norfolk Drive heard the alarm of their vehicle and on checking found that an attempt had been made to remove the alloy wheels. A brick and a jack were found under the vehicle.

Town Centre

Burglary other than dwelling:

Overnight on Wednesday an attempt was made to break into a shop on Clumber Street. A fire door was damaged in the incident but entry was not gained.
