Mansfield and Ashfield Seeing is Believing initiative showcased at London

An initiative involving Mansfield and Ashfield businesses joining forces with voluntary groups to inspire young people has become an example of best practice.

Seeing Is Believing , a partnership, brokered by the local Mansfield and Ashfield Business Connector from Business In The Community between local Mansfield manufacturer Mayborn Group and Sutton In Ashfield and Mansfield charity, Inspire and Achieve Foundation, was recently chosen to demonstrate the benefits of businesses working with local communities and charities.

The Seeing Is Believing event was held by Business In The Community to demonstrate to business leaders the benefits of businesses working with local communities and charities and to encourage them to get involved in community engagement.

A recent partnership which has seen the Mayborn Group adopt two traineeships provided by the Inspire & Achieve foundation was chosen as a perfect example of how a business and a local charitable organisation can work together to improve the lives of young people, and with real business benefits.
