Mansfield and Ashfield among seven crews called to Annesley blaze
Crews from Mansfield and Ashfield were among seven called to tackle a fire in the open in Annesley on Sunday, July 17.

The Mansfield and Ashfield engines were joined by crews from Hucknall, Stockhill, Stapleford, Eastwood and Alfreton to attend the incident on Salmon Lane which saw stable block measuring 40 metres by 20 metres and surrounding paddock land ablaze.
Crews tackled the fire using one main jet, two hose reels and a water carrier.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
