Man’s Cocaine deal seen by PCSO

A Mansfield man was spotted buying cocaine from a dealer by a PCSO, a court heard.

Carle Floyde of Langwith Junction, Mansfield admitted being in possession of class A drug cocaine when he appeared at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.

Floyde, 26 was seen approaching a car and purchasing one wrap of cocaine outside a pub, by the officer on May 15.

He had been persuaded to go along with the deal by a friend in the pub who had used cocaine.

He was fined £100, with prosecution costs of £85, a victim surcharge of £20 and a court cost charge of £150. The father of two said it had been “a stupid mistake”.
