Man suffers serious facial injuries after pub brawl spills out into the street

Two men have been arrested and bailed after a man was left with serious facial injuries following an assault at a pub which spilled out into a street in Warsop.

The incident happened at about 12.05am on Sunday (December 4) and started in the beer garden of The Talbot pub and continued on High Street.

A 37-year-old man sustained serious facial injuries and he was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre, where he remains. His injuries are not life threatening.

Two men, aged 39 and 21, were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm in connection with the incident and have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 12 of 4 December 2016. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
