Man released under investigation after assault in Mansfield

Officers were called to White Hart Street at around 4.30pm on Sunday ( September 16).

A 26-year-old man needed stitches to his head after being assaulted.

The 32-year-old man was originally arrested on September 19 but has since been released under investigation.

A Nottinghamshire Police spokesman said: "Enquiries continue.
