Man injured after car collides with lorry on A610
Fifrefighters were called to a road traffic incident on a major Notts road last night.
Reports came in of a collision on the A-road at Giltbrook just after 9pm.
Crews from Stockhill and Ilkeston, as well as a specialist rescue Unit form Highfields Fire Station attended the crash.
A spokesman said: "Upon arrival they confirmed a car had been in collision with a large goods vehicle.
"A 40-year-old man was rescued from the vehicle.
"The casualty was conveyed to hospital."
