Man due in court in connection with serious assault in Mansfield
A man is due to appear in court today in connection with a serious assault in Mansfield.
Gareth Scott, 37, of no fixed address, will appear at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court charged with causing grievous bodily harm following the incident in Layton Avenue at about 3am on Monday (March 6).
A 51-year-old man remains in a serious condition at the Queen’s Medical Centre.
A 47-year-old man, a 31-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman who were also arrested in connection with the assault have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
