Man charged with Kirkby murder

Police were called to Gleneages Drive, Kirkby, at about 11pm on Saturday 16 July 2016, to a report of a fight.

A woman, who can now be named as 46-year old Aleksandra Mrozic, had suffered stab wounds and subsequently died.

A 32-year-old man was taken to hospital with stab wounds. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Pawel Lupa, 40, of Gleneagles Drive, Kirkby, is due to appear at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Tuesday 19 July 2016).
