Man charged after man assaulted with guitar in Sutton
A man has been charged with assault by beating after Nottinghamshire Police received a report that a 41-year-old man had been hit over the head with a guitar in the Portland Square area.
The assault happened at around 4.50pm on Saturday, August 4.
Simon Groves, 30, of Healdswood Street in Sutton, was arrested shortly after the incident and will next appear at Mansfield Magistrates' Court on August 22.
