Man arrested in connection with robberies in Sutton
A 32-year-old man has been arrested in connection with three incidents at shops in Sutton yesterday (Thursday, September 13).
It relates to two bottles of whiskey stolen from Downing Street at around 6.55pm, a robbery in Leamington Drive at around 8.20pm and an attempted robbery in Mansfield Road at around 10pm.
The man was arrested shortly after 10pm and remains in police custody.
