Man arrested after pelting police from rooftops

Nottinghamshire police say the man got up on to a roof in Yeovil Court on Tedburn Drive and caused significant criminal damage.

Officers were called to the area at around 8.25pm yesterday (Sunday March 11).

The 28-year-old man was ripping guttering off the property and throwing shrapnel and bricks down to officers at the scene and onto parked vehicles.

No one was injured and the suspect, who was arrested at the scene, remains in police custody.
