Man arrested after Mansfield house fire
A man has been arrested after a house fire in Mansfield.
Crews from Mansfield, Ashfield and Warsop were called to the property on Cliff Street at about 1pm on Wednesday.
The firefighters battled the blaze and rescued a resident, who was taken to hospital by paramedics.
On Friday afternoon, a spokesman for Nottinghamshire police said: “Officers have arrested a man and enquiries are ongoing.
“We can’t release any further information at this stage.”
