A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of theft after a stolen iPad was found and handed in at Sutton police station last week

Officers think a person called ‘Gail’ she may be the owner of the iPad, with her name appearing on the welcome screen of the machine, which is kept in a black case.

The iPad did not contain any contact details or further information and the manufacturer has not been able to identify the owner.

Officers are appealing for Gail or anyone who knows her to come forward so we can reunite her with her tablet.

The 20-year-old man has been bailed pending further enquiries.
