Man appears in court charged with Post Office robberies
A man has appeared at Mansfield Magistrates' Court after being charged with two counts of robbery in Annesley Woodhouse.
Benjamin Robert Merrifield, 31, of no fixed address, is alleged to have committed the robberies at Annesley Woodhouse Post Office in Forest Road on January 3 and January 24.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on March 2.
An 18-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of robbery and has been released under investigation.
