Traffic is mounting on the M1 following lane closures due to a crash between Chesterfield and Mansfield.

Two lanes of the northbound carriageway have been closed this afternoon after a collision between Junction 28 for Tibshelf and Junction 29 for Chesterfield/Mansfield.

Highways England said the incident was not expected to clear until 3.15pm.

It is not yet known how many vehicles were involved or if anyone has been injured.
