Long queues on M1 after crash between Chesterfield and Mansfield

Two lanes of the northbound carriageway have been closed this afternoon after a collision between Junction 28 for Tibshelf and Junction 29 for Chesterfield/Mansfield.

Highways England said the incident was not expected to clear until 3.15pm.

Traffic cameras are currently showing long tailbacks at the scene.

It is not yet known how many vehicles were involved or if anyone has been injured.
