LETTER: Thanks to '˜heroes'

I had the unfortunate occurrence of having an asthma attack on the evening of Thursday, September 28.

My husband rang 111 and after we answered numerous questions, the operator sent for a paramedic to come, he was a hero, got me calmed, with all tests they do then called for an ambulance.
Two more heroes took me to King’s Mill accident and emergency where I was attended to right away by caring nurses and a lovely doctor.

I did require a stay in the hospital and eventually into ward 43, room six.
My health and personal care was in very good hands with all staff there taking great care of me at all time day and night.
