LETTER: Public transport is the key to Mansfield Market success

After reading many letters in the Chad with regard to Mansfield Market and the countless suggestions for its future, I fail to understand why upgrading the stalls will make any difference to its popularity.'¨Mansfield District Council seem to have overlooked the most important ingredient needed to make it a market to be proud of, and the only way to get people into the town is some form of public service transport vehicles operating into and around the town centre.'¨Put the stalls back on West Gate it's what stall holders want. Put some form of public transport back into the town centre. Mansfield must be the only town that does not operate a town service, why?'¨This town needs people, people need a local round-town bus service.
