LETTER: Move could lead to loss of shops town centre can't afford
I learnt recently that Tesco is installing six franchise units in its Oak Tree store at the beginning of March, representing six of the most popular names in Mansfield.
Is this a case of the ‘big boys’ getting greedier? It will certainly mean taking custom from our town centre that we can ill afford. We are also waiting to hear exactly how our Marks & Spencer store is going to be changed. Surely enough is enough.
