LETTER: Letter about cub trips was wonderful
I have just read Peter Waby's excellent letter '˜A wonderful day at the seaside' in the Chad
A very accurate and nostalgic account of the Club trips we all used to look forward too so much. One thing us lads used to do on the train was to collect as many beer bottle tops as we could and fix them on to our jumpers or pullovers with the cork seals as ‘badges’. Simple pleasures, but it gave us lots of fun.
