LETTER: Council policy was '˜only two storeys high'

Mansfield Woodhouse Urban District Council had a policy on high-rise flats in the 1970s, which said flats were not allowed to be built more than two storeys high and each flat had to have its own door.'¨There was a presentation on Mansfield District Council about high-rise flats and these were turned down by the council. '¨Thank God.'¨There was a scandal in Inverness, and other places about that time if I remember correctly.
