To mark ‘Star Wars’ Day today, a 12-hour challenge to build the fictional starship Millennium Falcon from 7,500 pieces of Lego has been launched.

The challenge will be staged at Pinders optician’s on Queen Street, Southwell to raise money for the charity Reach, which helps people with learning disabilities.

You can take part in the event, which takes place on Wednesday, May 30 (7 am to 7 pm), by booking a 15-minute slot for £5 to help the Pinders team, led by Leon Robson and Peter Herniman (pictured), to create one of the biggest Lego sets ever made.
