The crimes cover the period September 14-21.

CHURCH WARSOP

Burglary dwelling:

On Wednesday afternoon a house on Stonebridge Lane was entered via an unlocked rear door. An amount of cash was stolen along with two Mini Apple IPads.

Theft from a motor vehicle:

In the early hours of Sunday morning two males were disturbed trying to break into a van parked on Egmanton Road, other vans on the same street were broken into on the same evening and a number of tools were stolen. Six vans in the Warsop Birklands area were also broken into overnight on Saturday night. In all the cases the vans were entered by forcing doors or breaking windows and tools were stolen from a number of the vehicles.

CUMBERLANDS

A caravan parked on Redgate Street was broken into at an exact time unknown. Nothing was taken but there was evidence that drugs had been taken in the vehicle.

EAKRING

Burglary dwelling:

On Sunday evening a resident of Little Barn Lane left a rucksack in the porch whilst moving backwards and forwards to his car. The bag, which contained a laptop, a wallet with cash and cards, and some medical equipment was stolen.

Theft from a motor vehicle:

Overnight on Tuesday the windscreen wiper of a car parked on Hamilton Street was stolen.

On Wednesday morning two males, one riding a BMX bike, were witnessed smashing the windscreen of a car parked on Earlswood Drive with a brick. They then stole a wallet containing cash, cards and a driving licence.

A car parked on Southwell Road West was deliberately scratched along one side on Friday night.

Overnight on Tuesday a car parked on Maltby Road was deliberately scratched along one side by a named suspect.

In the early hours of Wednesday morning a male was apprehended on Maltby Road after having been witnessed attempting to force open a number of cars. The male was carrying a bag containing a number of windscreen wipers.

FOREST TOWN EAST

Theft of a motor vehicle:

On Sunday morning a silver Audi A3 was stolen from outside a property on Braemar Road.

FOREST TOWN WEST

The rear number plate was stolen from a car parked on Olive Grove at some time over the weekend.

Overnight on Monday a Transit van parked on Breckbank was broken into and tools stolen.


GRANGE FARM

Burglary other than dwelling:

Overnight on Tuesday the garage of a house on Lamond Close was forced open, it is not known if anything was taken in the incident.

Criminal damage to a motor vehicle:

On the afternoon of Thursday 14th a car parked on Longstone Way was deliberately scratched and a grill pulled off.

Overnight on Friday the wing mirror of a car parked on Sutton Road was pulled off. On the following Monday night the wing mirror of another car parked on Sutton Road was also damaged.

LADYBROOK

Theft from a motor vehicle:

On Wednesday afternoon a van parked on Kirkland Avenue was entered by unknown means and a number of tools stolen from the vehicle.

Overnight on Wednesday a van parked on Brick Kiln Lane was entered by forcing open the passenger side door, a number of tools were stolen from the vehicle. On the same night another van parked on The Knoll was forced open, nothing was taken in this incident.

Criminal damage to a motor vehicle:

Overnight on Tuesday the wing mirrors of two cars parked on Ladybrook Lane were smashed.

OAK TREE

A car parked on Fritchley Court was deliberately scratched along both sides at some time on Wednesday.

Theft from a motor vehicle:

In the early hours of Sunday morning a male was disturbed attempting to break into a van on Eakring Road, nothing was taken.

PORTLAND

Burglary dwelling:

Shared accommodation on Lord Street was broken into overnight on Friday and an amount of cash taken from one flat.

A resident of Newton Street returned home from holiday on Monday to find that his property had been burgled, nothing was stolen.

A lock up on Sheepbridge Lane was forced open on Tuesday night and copper stolen. A van was damaged in the incident.

Theft of a motor vehicle:

A motorcycle parked outside a house on Newton Street was stolen overnight on Tuesday.

RAVENSDALE

Theft of a motor vehicle:

A silver Ford Focus was stolen from outside a property on Tideswell Court on the afternoon of Thursday 14th.

PRIORY

Theft from a motor vehicle:

On Friday morning a driver on Yorke Street left his vehicle unlocked when he went into his house and on his return discovered that his wallet, containing cash and cards, had been taken from the glove compartment.

TOWN CENTRE

Burglary other than dwelling:

An empty property on Stockwell Gate was broken into, nothing was taken.

WARSOP BIRKLANDS

Theft from a motor vehicle:

Overnight on Saturday a total of eight vans in the area were broken into. In all the cases the vans were entered by forcing doors or breaking windows and tools were stolen from a number of the vehicles. The streets affected include Robin Hood Avenue, Maid Marian Rise, Cherry Grove, Short Street, Eastlands Lane and Egmanton Road at Meden Vale.
