Last chance to sign up for Mansfield talent contest

Organised by Mansfield Rotary Club, the talent contest has been running for 41 years and the deadline for under 18s to enter is this weekend, before the first heats take place.

They will be held at Mansfield Library on Westgate on February 1,2 and 3 at 6.30pm.

Show organiser, Paul Bacon, said: “We are looking for vocalists, instrumentalists, dancers, variety acts and dance troupes to make up an outstanding final competition.

“All young people with talent are eligible to enter Junior Showtime provided they are 18 years or under on February 20th, 2016 and seven years 
or over on the February 1, 2016.”

The final of this year’s competition will take place at Mansfield’s Palace Theatre on Saturday, February 20.
