Kynan Eldridge Fund founders have £500 boost for Spectrum Wasp Project

The founders of the Kynan Eldridge Fund have presented a cheque for £500 to the Spectrum Wasp Association.

The fund was set up, under the auspices of the Nottinghamshire Community Foundation, by Anne and Peter Eldridge in memory of their son, Kynan, who was tragically killed in Mansfield in 2005.

The fund aims to support local young people who are disadvantaged in some way to achieve their potential through music.

Anne and Peter presented the money to the Spectrum Wasp organisation atthe Mansfield SuperBowl.

Spectrum provides support, activities and respite to local children who are on the autistic spectrum and their siblings and parents.

It offers a varied programme of events such as swimming, outings, football and music.
