Knitting group is pearl of an idea
A Knit and Natter group based at Bulwell’s Riverside is going from strength to strength.
The group, which meets every Tuesday between 10am-12noon, has a regular 24 visitors each week who all get together to knit, crochet, sew and have a chat over a cuppa.
“It is a lovely group of people with a real cross-section of the community represented within the group,” said founder member, Beryl Buxton. “We teach people to knit, swap patterns and ideas and just have a natter. And we welcome anybody, just drop by and say hello.”
