Kirkby man dies after three vehicle crash in Sutton-in-Ashfield

The police were called to Kirkby Road, Sutton, around 3.20pm, when the young man’s scooter was involved in a collision with a HGV and a Ford Mondeo.

An air ambulance attended the scene but the scooter rider died from his injuries.

A spokesman for Nottinghamshire Police said: “We are working to establish the circumstances of the fatal collision and would like to hear from anyone who witnessed what happened.”
