Kirkby cash machines ‘glued’ by yobs

Kirkby residents have hit out at yobs who have glued many of the town’s cash machine key pads to prevent them from working.

The angry bank users took to Facebook to show their disgust as they claim NatWest, Lloyds and Barclays banks have been targeted in the bizarre attack.

The respective banks have been informed and awaiting a response.

Kirkby Inspector Martin Severn said: “Residents should be vigilant, have a good look at the ATM prior to using it and if you see anything you think is not quite right don’t use it and report it to the bank”.
