Police have said they are being ‘vigilant’ after complaints of bogus callers visiting homes in Kirkby.

One resident said a man asked to take photographs of her children and sell her the prints for a low price. He then asked questions about how many children she had.

A spokeswoman for Nottinghamshire Police said: “We have been aware of the incident and officers will remain vigilant.”

Anyone who suspects a bogus caller should contact police on the non emergency number 101.
