Kind Leah-Allison has hair shorn off
Leah-Allison Biggin, of Laurel Close is having 10-12 inches shorn off in aid of veterans’ charity SSAFA and Angel Children.
The kind-hearted schoolgirl decided she had to do something for traumatised soldiers after hearing how her Uncle Lee had taken his own life 15 years ago, after suffering the effects of post-traumatic stress disorder.

The charity is organising a Halloween disco to raise money for that of Oak Tree estate teenager Ciaran Sweeney, who was tragically found dead at a Mansfield quarry this month after going missing.
Leah is going under the scissors at Genesis Hair Salon, Shirebrook, on 25th October.
