The plight of Joshua who is at a high risk of stroke and seizures has moved a whole community.

Tina said: “The doctors have said we can take him on holiday with his family first whilst he’s capable of enjoying it to the full.”

Moyamoya disease is a progressive disorder caused by blocked arteries at the base of the brain and symptoms include strokes and mini-strokes and seizures.

Joshua has already had one stroke at the age of 10 months and there is a higher risk of stroke after the operation due to the brain adjusting to the eight-hour operation.

Tina recently raised £93 at an event at Fisher Lane Park, bringing the total raised so far to around £3,500.

Forest Town dad Chris Vincent is planning to run a half marathon in Derby on 15th of June. Visit http://www.gofundme.com/pzbjtc
