Jonathan Turner murder: New court appearance

TWO of the four men charged with murdering Forest Town man Jonathan Turner appeared at Nottingham Crown Court this morning (Friday).

Andrej Novakov (19) of Mansfield and Miroslavas Budzinskis (24) of Nottingham, appeared before Judge Michael Stokes following their arrest on Monday night.

Both are accused of murdering Mr Turner (27), who died in intensive care at King’s Mill Hospital on Sunday after he was allegedly attacked in Stockwell Gate, Mansfield, in the early hours of Saturday morning.

A post-mortem showed he died of a head injury.

Neither spoke at the hearing except to confirm their names.

Bragdas Kilic (22), of Westfield Lane, Mansfield and Vjaceslavs Solovjovs (22), of Terrace Road, Mansfield have also been charged with Mr Turner’s murder and appeared at Nottingham Crown Court on Thursday.

The four will next appear at Nottingham Crown Court on Thursday (19th May).

No bail applications were heard.
