‘Join for a toy’ offer at Lammas Centre

Anyone wanting to join the Lammas Leisure Centre can do so this week by bringing in a toy for charity instead of paying the standard joining fee of £40.

Until Friday, the centre is offering a ‘join for a toy’ promotion in aid of the St Mary’s foodbank in Sutton.

The collected toys will be donated to the children of local families who are using the food bank and have been referred through Framework.

Toys must be new and in their original packaging to qualify and should be handed over to the leisure centre staff when signing up to a new membership at the Lammas.

The idea is to provide kids with a toy who otherwise may go without this festive season.
