Jobs fair at South Normanton firm

The new 224,000 sq ft centre is situated close to Junction 28 of the M1, on the Castlewood Industrial Estate, and is UDG’s fifth warehouse.

Although the company currently employs around 700 people, it has a number of positions to fill including warehouse operatives, forklift truck drivers, and shift supervisors.

The jobs fair takes place between 9am and 1pm on tomorrow (6th September) at UDG, Berristow Lane, South Normanton.

Those attending the event will be able to find out more about UDG and the vacancies, and they are advised to take along a CV. They should also be prepared for a short interview.

Operations director Mark Langton said: “We have an enviable position as a market leader in our field. Our commitment to customer service and our ability to deliver means that we continue to be a successful business.

“It is because of this that we are expanding and we are now operating from five warehousing sites in the South Normanton area. The jobs fair is one way we can recruit for the new facility.”
