Composite doors are now subject to rigorous testing standards, which many manufacturers are struggling to meet.

Future Products, however, was quick off the mark with meeting the standards.

Kevin Harvey, managing director, said: “Composite doors are widely used in public sector buildings, and as entrance doors.

“Previously, the doors were required to only be tested on one side, until the government decided all composite doors had to be tested on both sides.

“Future are at the forefront of fire protection and public safety for composite door sets.”

In a boost to the economy, Future Products is also looking to recruit more staff to cope with demand.
