Schools, Colleges and Community Outreach is the name of the team which organises and co-ordinates NTU’s extensive range of programmes with schools, colleges and community organisations to promote higher education.

With over 120 schools and colleges invited to submit entries, Jade’s colourful design was selected as the winner.

She won a £20 Amazon voucher and the kudos of having her design used throughout the university’s advertising and marketing material.

The 18-year-old said: “This challenge was set as part of our preparing for work sessions to enable us to experience working for a real-life client.

“I’m really proud to have won, it’s something to feel good about and I can’t wait to see my design go live.

“I’ll be putting this in my portfolio ready for when I apply to go to university myself.”

The Outreach Team said Jade’s design was chosen because it is fun and represented its audience very well and the work they do.
