DURING the last few years I have had several emergency admissions to King’s Mill Hospital due to a heart condition. On every occasion it has been necessary to call on the emergency services by dialling 999. I am immensely grateful for the prompt response from the telephone operators, paramedics and ambulance crews, and the kindness shown by them all. My gratitude also extends to the doctors and nurses in the A and E department, who helped me when I was in distress.
Last but not least, I want to thank my consultant, and her team, the nurses and their assistants on Ward “3 for their care and consideration.
