In reply, the Sherwood side edged to victory for the loss of 15 wickets, after solid hitting from the junior members and despite Ashlene Bagshaw claiming the scalp of brother Geoffrey.

The match was followed by raffles and an auction. Club chairman Paul Wright said: “I would like to thank all those who participated and helped out, making it a night to truly remember.”
