A REMEMBRANCE service organised by the British Humanist Association will take place in Mansfield on 11th November.

Members of the charity will gather at the war memorial in Nottingham Road cemetery from 11am.

The memorial, near the entrance to the cemetery, off Nottingham Road, has recently been repaired and restored and is just yards from the gravesides of soldiers who died from illness or injury after the First World War.

A roll call will be read out during the service and members of the public wanting to have their loved one’s name included should contact Donald Sharpe from the British Humanist Association on Mansfield 555969.
