Huge bands at fake festival

If you would like to see some huge bands playing on your doorstep for a fraction of the normal price of a festival then look no further.

Mansfield Fakestock will feature some of the UK’s best tribute acts, including Bon Jovi Uk and Coolplay at the John Fretwell Sports Centre on 5th April.

This will be the first time the one-day event has been staged in the town and the Sookholme venue will boast two stages, licensed bar, refreshments and a BBQ throughout the day.

Mark Waterfield, of John Fretwell Sports Centre, said: “It is going to be a fantastic event with a fantastic atmosphere.

“It is a great opportunity for people to come and enjoy some amazing bands playing amazing songs at a fraction of the cost of some of the bigger festivals.”

Ben Marshall, of Fakestock Festivals, said: “We are delighted to be working with the centre on what will be an awesome event. We have already got some cracking bands booked.”

Mansfield Fakestock runs between 2-11pm with tickets from £7.50 per person.

Organisers are also appealing for local bands interested in performing at the festival to come forward via the event website.
